Who We Are
Seventeen Years. One Standard.
Justin Doyle learned to build from his father. That’s not a marketing line — that’s where this company begins.
Before JDH, there was Doyle Homes in Lima, Ohio. Before that, a father and a son on job sites, learning that the way a home is built reflects the character of the people who build it. Justin took that foundation to Ohio State, studied mechanical engineering, and came back to homebuilding with something most builders don’t have: a systems mind and a craftsman’s standard operating at the same time.
In 2009, Justin brought that combination to Cincinnati. Seventeen years and hundreds of homes later, JDH has built a reputation across Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, and Dayton — not by growing fast, but by growing right.
One guiding principle has never changed: when the choice comes between profitability and doing what’s right for the client, principle wins. Not because it’s the right answer to give. Because that is actually how JDH operates.
Customization
Your Home. Built Your Way.
No two JDH homes are the same. Every client arrives with a different life, a different vision, and a different definition of what “finally right” looks and feels like. JDH works from a portfolio of plans — not as templates, but as starting points. Floor plans get modified. Finishes get chosen. Details get decided the way they should be: by the people who will live there.
Customer Service
The Experience Is the Product.
Building a custom home is one of the most significant commitments a family makes. Most JDH clients have never done this before. That means the experience isn’t something separate from the home — it is the home. An in-house design team. A dedicated project manager. Real communication at every stage of the build. The five-star standard isn’t something JDH claims because it sounds good on paper. It’s the standard that has built the referral reputation this company has maintained for 17 years.
Built to Last. Certified to Prove It.
JDH doubles the industry’s standard warranty, uses quality products as baseline — not upgrades — and holds LEED certification, meaning every home is built to exceed energy efficiency standards from the foundation up. The commitment to quality doesn’t end at closing. It’s designed to hold long after the keys change hands.
